Mi Valedor is Mexico's first street magazine offering a legitimate income to homeless and vulnerable sectors. The model is an adaptation of the UK's "The Big Issue".

 

The magazine is a visual, conceptual and organic portrait of everyday life in Mexico City.  We've been running since 2015 and we've won Best Design 3 times at the International Street Paper Awards.

Mi Valedor is a voice for excluded sectors, so the vendors can attend workshops and practice their social and editorial skills: they are active contributors to the publication. Every year, one of the 6 issues is produced 100% by vendors.
